Join author and professor Stephen Tow for an expansive presentation on the history of "classic rock". Stephen will discuss where it came from and the African American blues artists that influenced it, what it grew into, and the ways it changed the landscape of music forever. Some topics to be covered include the role London played in the creation and development of the genre, the importance of the Beatles, and the roots of rock and roll.

Stephen is a professor of American History at Delaware Valley University where he also teaches courses on music history and rock and roll. He is the author of the books "London, Reign Over Me: How England's Capital Built Classic Rock" and "The Strangest Tribe: How A Group of Seattle Rock Bands Invented Grunge".
