For Holocaust Remembrance Day, this lecture will explore the legacy of the Holocaust, one of the most climactic events in world history. Designed to go beyond the extermination camps, this lecture will discuss the origins of Hitler’s motivation. We will also analyze the lessons that should have been learned, why these lessons have failed, and what can be done to make sure that it will never happen again.

Long-time resident of Abington Township, lecturer James Robertson has an MA in Modern European History and Holocaust Studies. He has been a Temple Lifelong Learning Lecturer for 13 years and an Adjunct History Professor for 16 years. He’s currently an Adjunct History Professor at Esperanza College and a lecturer at Upper Dublin Adult Discovery and Learning.

This event is offered in-person and virtually. A Zoom invitation will be sent to registrants who prefer to attend remotely.
