Teen Volunteer Event: Peyton Heart Project
Monday, April 12:00—4:00 PMYoung Adult AreaAbington Free Library1030 Old York Rd, Abington, PA, 19001
Teens who can knit or crochet are invited to make hearts for the Peyton Heart Project for service hours. Yarn will be provided, but bring your own hooks and needles if you can. Instructions will be provided and Miss Sara will be able to show crocheters how to crochet the heart. (Unfortunately she cannot knit!). Hearts will be given out during May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month.
This program falls on a day that the Abington School District is closed. If you are unable to attend but would still like to crochet or knit hearts at home for service hours, contact YA Librarian Sara Huff.
This program is open to any "teen" in grades 6-12, and registration is required. Questions? Contact Young Adult / Reference Librarian Sara Huff at shuff@mclinc.org or 215-885-5180, ext. 147.
Registration for this event has now closed.
