Teen Art Class: Blackout Poetry
Wednesday, August 102:00—3:00 PMCommunity Room, MiddleAbington Free Library1030 Old York Rd, Abington, PA, 19001
Teens, join us for a Blackout Poetry Art Class! Blackout poetry is a style of poetry where the poet uses something that is already written, like a book page, and blacks out everything except select words. The words left on the page create a poem or story.
The class will be facilitated by local artist Amy Grebe. (The image we chose is just an example, you can create whatever image you'd like.)
This program is open to any "teen" in grades 6-12, and registration is required. Questions? Contact Young Adult / Reference Librarian Sara Huff at shuff@mclinc.org or 215-885-5180, ext. 113.
Registration for this event has now closed.
