Please join us for an Introduction to Permaculture class where we will cover some of the basic philosophy & design concepts of permaculture, a landscape design philosophy formulated in Australia some decades ago, with a hopeful vision for humans within the natural order and a strong focus on growing food close to home.
About the instructor: Boris Kerzner is a resident of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, who is passionate about creating landscapes that provide food for humans and wildlife. He began his career as a software engineer, but then dove into herbal medicine and gardening before going back to school to get a masters' degree in Sustainable Landscape Design & Planning. With a deeper understanding of natural systems and an enhanced toolkit, he launched Grow Our Food Landscaping - a sustainable landscaping company with a strong focus on edibles - in the summer of 2022.
