The ordinary person could not have electric light until Mr. Latimer invented ways to make light bulbs last longer and cost less. Meet the man who wrote the original book on the light bulb and then do your own test of electricity.

Kids ages 8 to 11 will learn about Mr. Latimer and then try a modern source of energy. Everyone takes home a photovoltaic (solar) cell and a tiny vibrating motor.

Registration starts February 9.
