Aug. 31 is National Read a Book Day! Join the Abington Police Athletic League and the Abington Township Police Department at the library for free books and free Rita's water ice! 

The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the North Parking Lot of the Abington Free Library. 

Those interested in donating books to the event can drop them off in the box in the lobby of the Abington Township Police Station, 1166 Old York Road in Abington.
