This is the first of three sessions of training to become a volunteer tutor for the Adult Literacy Program.

Our tutors work with adults who want to improve their literacy skills. Many of our students need to improve their non-native English skills, others want to improve their basic reading and writing skills, and still others come to us for help to pass a test, such as a high school equivalency test.  Tutors meet with students for a minimum of 1½ hours a week, materials are supplied. A six-month commitment is required.
