Ki the storyteller is preparing for his annual Dr. King Day celebration with the (puppet) animals when he discovers that they are planning to do other things instead….shopping, movies, arcades, bowling. As the animals begin to argue over what to do, Ki decides to explain why Dr. King’s holiday is important and how he helped people get along with each other through the Civil Rights Movement. A session on little known stories about Dr. King and his movement.
