With generous support from the Township, the Abington Shade Tree Commission has purchased 300 native trees to give away for free to Abington Township residents to help strengthen our urban canopy.

Tree species include Red Maple; Hackberry; American Sycamore; White Oak; Willow Oak; Princeton American Elm; Canadian Serviceberry; Pawpaw; White Fringe Tree; Sweet Bay Magnolia. All trees will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each household may take up to two trees, but if you take two trees, one must be a shade tree. Pre-registration for expedited service is optional but encouraged: abingtonpa.gov/treegiveaway.
