Creativity Workshops for Teens: Edible Candy Mosaic Tiles

Wednesday, July 172:00—3:30 PMCommunity Room, Board Room + Middle Abington Free Library1030 Old York Rd, Abington, PA, 19001

Is there a better combination than an art project that looks good and tastes good, too? A candy mosaic is a bunch of graham cracker “tiles” with an icing base onto which you will create artistic “scenes” or mosaics using candy and your own imagination. Ideas and supplies will be provided! Of course, you will get to take home your delicious creation (and hopefully get a few pictures before eating it)!

Kate Shreckengast,  a Drexel University Library and Information Science Graduate student, will be leading this program. This program is open to any "teen" entering grades 6-12, and registration is required. Questions? Contact Young Adult / Reference Librarian Sara Huff at shuff@mclinc.org or 215-885-5180, ext. 147.
