Creativity Workshops for Teens: Create Mixed-Media Art Using Mod Podge
Wednesday, July 312:00—4:00 PMCommunity Room, Kitchen + Middle Abington Free Library1030 Old York Rd, Abington, PA, 19001
Do you enjoy working with a variety of media to create art? Or do you just like the idea of creating art without too many rules about how to do it? We will provide tools, different kinds of supplies and textured items, as well as ideas to help you create a piece of art using Mod Podge. If there are specific types of items you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring them to the workshop (a photograph, a piece of fabric you like, some type of found object you want to include, etc.).
Kate Shreckengast, a Drexel University Library and Information Science Graduate student, will be leading this program. This program is open to any "teen" entering grades 6-12, and registration is required. Questions? Contact Young Adult / Reference Librarian Sara Huff at shuff@mclinc.org or 215-885-5180, ext. 147.
