Join us for Story Chefs, a creative writing workshop for children in grades 2-5. During this second of two sessions, "Recipe for Good Writing," we will explore the ingredients of a great story. We will also look at how published children's authors make their writing shine and how children can add more "meat" or flavor to their own stories.  Participants are asked to bring their writing journals from the first session and a favorite book to share. This session will be led by Children's Department head Carolyn DuBois, who is also an associate member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
