Conversations with Coroner Dr. Janine Darby

Thursday, March 511:00 AM—12:00 PMMain FloorAbington Free Library1030 Old York Rd, Abington, PA, 19001

Most of us don't think much about what we eat and where it leads. But Dr. Janine Darby does, because her job requires it. As Montgomery County's Coroner and a board-certified physician in family and obesity medicine, she has spent her career at the quiet intersection of how we live and how we die.

The connection between what's on our plates and what ends up on her table is more direct than most people realize. Heart disease, diabetes, obesity. These aren't just national statistics. They're our neighbors, our families, our community.

Dr. Darby wants to talk about that. Come pull up a chair.  She'll be seated near the Circulation Desk for open, drop-in conversation. No slides, no lecture, just an honest dialogue about nutrition, prevention, and what it actually takes to build a healthier community. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your friend.
