CANCELED - Black History Month Cooking Class for Teens

Wednesday, February 215:45—7:00 PMZoom

Teens are invited to this virtual cooking class in honor of Black History Month! Cook along from home with food educator Claire Richardson as we learn about Black trailblazers in the culinary world and the history of African Heritage Diet. This program is part of Oldways' Taste of African Heritage series, which uses history, nutrition, and cooking to connect people with the vibrant, healthy traditions of the African Diaspora. We'll be making garlicky collard greens, green smoothie, and couscous with red peppers.

This program is open to any "teen" in grades 6-12, and registration is required. Questions? Contact Young Adult / Reference Librarian Sara Huff at shuff@mclinc.org or 215-885-5180, ext. 147.
