About the instructor: Kirsten lives in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia. Charcoal, soft pastels, colored pencils, and upcycled textiles are among her specialties. Art has been a part of her identity for as long as she can remember and she has a strong sense of inclusion from her childhood. She feels this influences her art, using decorative multi-colored fabrics – the different fabrics, colors, and textures symbolize diversity.

She studied fine art at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida and is currently teaching art to seniors at Southwest Senior Center in Southwest Philadelphia.

Registration for this event has now closed.
