This lecture will go over how to use Zoom to chat with friends and family and take virtual classes with Senior Planet and enjoy programming such as the Virtual Author Talk series sponsored by the Friends of Abington Township Public Library! You’ll learn about useful Zoom features, whether you’re connecting with an iOS, Android, or Windows device. The lecture will also go over security considerations and give tips on how to look your best during a video chat.

Learning new skills, especially digital ones, can be exciting and intimidating. Two in five adults aged 50+ feel technology is not inclusive. That's why we're excited to team up with AARP Foundation, Older Adults Technology Services (OATS), and its flagship program, Senior Planet, to provide the Digital Skills Ready@50+™ program in our community. Senior Planet instructors will teach the sessions live via Zoom. We will have an on-site library facilitator during the sessions.
