Did you know that plastic bags can be made into sleeping mats to help people experiencing homelessness?

It's true! The plastic bags are made into "plarn" (plastic yarn) and the plarn is crocheted into mats. We're looking for people of any age to help make mats. No experience crocheting? No problem! Our experienced volunteers will be on-hand to teach you. Two local Girl Scouts are leading this program series to earn their Silver Award.
